Interior Architecture - Master- Zwolle

Programme per year

In your first year, you will develop your own research proposal and explore research through creating. You will also follow theory classes and thematic modules, and get to know research methods such as observation and interview. Within the case study, you will explore the relationship between power, space and bodies together with others. In addition, there are skills workshops, meetings with professionals and a discourse programme to broaden and sharpen your perspective.

In your second year, research, design and reflection come together in your graduation project. You will develop your own design strategy, positioning yourself as an independent spatial designer and researcher. Through presentations, exhibitions and critical reflection, you will show how your work responds to social and spatial transitions on an international level.

Travel and interventions

The four compulsory travel modules and short intensive projects are a fixed part of the programme. These will take you, as a student, to other contexts within the Netherlands or abroad, where you will gain new perspectives and enrich your research. They are directly linked to your research and contribute to your personal and professional development.
