If you would like to apply for the Master in Creative Writing, you will first need to take part in the admissions process. Think of it as an introduction: during the admissions process, we will assess whether you meet the admission requirements, but also an important moment for you to experience whether the programme aligns with your professional goals and development.

Check the admission requirements

You can apply for admission if you meet the following criteria:

• You have a bachelor’s degree;
• You can show that you can create artistic and literary texts at a high level;
• You hold a diploma or certificate at the required language level. Check the English language requirement for master’s degree programmes;
• You are proficient in English and write in Dutch, Italian, Spanish or German, or you maintain a hybrid language practice that combines English with one of these European languages.

If you primarily write in another European national language that is not part of our partnership, we still encourage you to apply. We will be happy to discuss possibilities together and explore how your language practice could connect to our wider European network and community through affiliated partners such as CELA.
