Your degree
Upon successful completion of the Architecture master’s programme, you will receive the Master of Science (MSc) degree. This programme is listed in RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 44336. The formal programme title is Master of Architecture. This name will also appear on your degree certificate.
With this degree, you comply with the conditions for being listed in the Architectenregister (Netherlands Architects Register), which is mandatory if you want to work as an independent architect. You are not allowed to use the architect’s title until you are registered in the Architectenregister.
Career opportunities
As an architect, you move alongside a changing world. You work on complex and current spatial challenges. From redevelopment and urban regeneration to designing safe and inclusive environments. In doing so, you combine creativity with knowledge of technology, legislation and context. Graduates find their way to architecture firms, municipalities and social organisations, or start their own practice. Others choose research, education or policy. Always with one goal: to design with impact, in balance with society and the natural environment.
