Architecture - Master - Arnhem

After graduation

Your degree

Upon successful completion of the Architecture master’s programme, you will receive a Master of Science degree and then be able to use the official title Master of Science (MSc). This programme is listed in RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 44336. The formal programme title is Master of Architecture, which is the name that will appear on your diploma.

With this degree, you must adhere to the conditions for being listed in the Architectenregister (Netherlands Architects Register), which is mandatory if you want to work as an independent architect. You are not allowed to use the architect’s title until you are registered in the Architectenregister.

Career opportunities

As an architect, you move in conjunction with a changing world. You will work on complex and current spatial challenges, from redevelopment and urban regeneration to designing safe and inclusive environments. In doing so, you will combine your creativity with technological, legislative and contextual knowledge. Our graduates find their way into architecture firms, municipalities and social organisations, or start their own practice. Others choose to pursue research, education or policy, but always with one goal: to design with impact, in balance with society and the natural environment.
