From the very beginning, research, artistic practice and teaching are closely connected. You will explore how to design educational experiences through art that address contemporary themes, always drawing on your own practice and experience.
During the shortened part-time bachelor’s programme, you will learn how to teach, apply art theory and reflect on your practice. You will carry out practice-based research and write a theoretical essay in the second year to conclude the bachelor’s phase.
In the master’s phase, the focus is on arts-based and action-oriented research. You will design a research project focused on a social issue, carry out artistic-educational interventions and experiment with visual reflection methods such as film.
You will work both individually and collaboratively on practice-oriented assignments. In your third year, you will carry out an artistic-educational project within your own professional environment — the final part of your studies and the starting point for the next step in your career.
