The evaluation will take place by means of a peer assessment by all participants. Within two weeks after the training, participants will be notified whether they have passed or whether they need to submit one or more of their clinical examples. The result will be based on a majority vote of 70%. Successful participants will be included in the NMT™ Fellowship register for a period of 5 years.
A certificate for this Neurologic Music Therapy® Fellowship training course will be issued by the Robert Unkefer Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy® . This has been approved by the World Federation of Neurorehabilitation and recognised as post-graduate continuing education by the American registration and certification register for music therapy (CBMT).
The NMT Fellowship Training is recognised worldwide. Accreditation has been reapplied for Dutch music therapists; in the past, it was approved for 32 points. This accreditation can be used for registration with the Dutch Association for Music Therapy (NVvMT), the Federation of Professional Therapists (FVB) and the Register of Professional Therapists.
