For most music programmers and curators, practical experience is an important learning tool. That is why this course brings you into contact with people who have earned their spurs in the field.
Lecturers are selected on the basis of special projects they have realised, their expertise in specific areas of cultural leadership and management, or their unique approach. They share their experiences, discuss current developments with you and answer questions about your own work. This allows you to progress through the “hard school of practice” much more quickly. In doing so, you expand your network.
When selecting guest speakers, we strive for a wide variety of perspectives on music today. An important criterion is the ability to combine imagination and realism at a high level. To date, the speakers listed below have been our guests. For each new course, we make a selection from this group. The meetings are supervised by coordinator Mirjam Zegers.
