Product Design - Bachelor - Arnhem

Admission day

Physical admission

The physical admission requires you to visit the academy for one day. You will receive a presentation about the program and a tour of the workshops. Additionally, you will participate in a fun workshop, and throughout the day, you will be invited for a motivation interview.

In this interview, we will discuss you and why you want to pursue this program. We will also review the home assignment you completed and your portfolio.

Online admission

For the online admission, we will invite you for a motivation interview. We will mainly talk about you and why you choose this program. Additionally, we will take a look at your home assignment and your portfolio.

The assessment

After you apply for selection, you will take part in a selection process in which we assess your potential to successfully complete the programme. We will assess:

  • Your creative ability: the ability to express yourself visually and turn your ideas into tangible objects. We will look at aspects such as your understanding of materials and techniques, sense of form and colour, and the authenticity expressed in your work.
  • Your capacity for critical reflection. We look for an inquisitive and experimental mindset, a curiosity about art and culture, and a clear interest in the field of product design.
  • Your ability to communicate. How well can you communicate your inspiration and motivation—verbally, in writing, or visually?
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
