Prepare well
Being well-prepared will increase your chances of being admitted to the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Arnhem. Below, you can read about your options to prepare yourself well.
Introductory lesson
An introductory lesson takes place with one of the Music Theatre lecturers. During the lesson, you will get to know the lecturer and get a good idea of your level and admission potential. You can also go through the programme components for a possible audition together. Please request a lesson by email and state the programme you are interested in. Feel free to indicate a preferred lecturer, and we will see what can be arranged.
Please note: introductory lessons are only available from 1 October until 31 March, and only if you have attended an Open Day or a taster day.
Online information session
Join an online information session to learn more about the programme, what you'll study and the different projects you can work on. You'll also have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
Intensive course in Music Theory
You can prepare well for the music theory entrance exam by taking the Intensive course in Music Theory.
Preparatory programmes
There is a separate preparatory programme for the Bachelor of Music Theatre. In addition, from the age of 10, you can already start taking other programmes at the ArtEZ Academy of Music.
