Your degree

Upon completing the programme, you will receive a Bachelor of Music diploma, which entitles you to use the Bachelor of Music (BMus) title. This programme is registered in the Register of Institutions and Programmes (RIO) under code 34739.

After completing the Jazz & Pop programme in Zwolle, the music world will be at your fingertips. You will develop into a flexible and versatile musician with a solid foundation. You will know how to take on a leading role, but you will also be able to coach and collaborate with others effectively. In addition, you will be able to teach, perform or play an important role behind the scenes. Whatever you decide to do, you will have a clear artistic identity that sets you apart in the professional field.

Former students of Jazz & Pop in Zwolle are active in many different realms. Some work as solo artists in pop or jazz; others create productions for theatre or play in backing bands. You will also find our alumni working as music teachers, studio producers or entrepreneurs in the music industry.

Further study

Would you like to dive even deeper into your studies? With the Master of Music in Zwolle or Arnhem, you can further specialise in the direction that appeals to you most. Additionally, you could choose to follow the two-year Tailor-made Music in Education programme to obtain a first-degree teaching qualification in regular education. If you choose Tailor-made Music in Education as a second bachelor's programme, you will pay a reduced statutory tuition fee rate.
