Because space is more than walls, floors and furniture. You observe how people use a space – and you quickly see how it could be improved. You love designing and thinking about why something works.
Interior architecture is about the interaction between thinking, making and researching. You will learn how to create meaning through space and how your design shapes the way people use it. You will practise exploring, developing and making your own designs. At the same time, you will research what you create – and why. Practice and theory come together in your work. This is how you develop your own vision, with an eye for people and society.
Whether you want to study for two, four or six years, ArtEZ has what you need. You can start with the bachelor’s programme and then progress to the master’s programme in Interior Architecture (Corpo-real). If you have a relevant MBO qualification, you may also consider the Associate degree in Interior Design. All these programmes complement each other and create a vibrant, close-knit community.
During this programme, you will explore how design affects people and their environment. You will collaborate frequently with fellow students from your own programme and from other disciplines. This encourages you to think beyond standard solutions and to experiment.
You will be part of a group of no more than 25 students per year, which means plenty of personal attention. You will have space to develop in your own way, in a safe and engaging learning environment.
