After completing the programme, you will receive the Bachelor of Design degree and you may use the title Bachelor of Arts (BA). This programme is registered in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 39111.
After graduating, you can work as a spatial designer; for example, at a design studio or as an independent designer. You might work on projects for homes, offices, healthcare institutions, shops or public spaces. Some alumni choose smaller assignments that allow for hands-on involvement, while others join larger teams working on large-scale designs.
Your clients may come from a range of sectors, from education and healthcare to private individuals and retail. You will often collaborate with other professionals, such as architects, graphic designers and project developers.
Would you like to explore the field in more depth? You can progress to the master’s programme in Interior Architecture at ArtEZ, called Corpo-real. In this master, you will develop a new vision of space through critical and innovative research. You will be encouraged to reflect, debate and respond to current social developments.
