In the fourth year you will do an internship at a location appropriate for your development. This could be an illustrator, a marketing agency, a publishing house or an organisation in the world of art, culture or media. You can choose the internship location yourself and will be guided by an ArtEZ lecturer and a contact person on site.
During your internship:
Your internship is also a key opportunity to find out what kind of work you want to do after you graduate. Some students focus on editorial illustration or children’s books, others on animation, games, museum projects or installations. Possible internship locations also include independent practices and collectives.
You will conclude the internship with a reflection on your learning process and use that input when designing your graduation project.
