Graphic Design - Bachelor - Zwolle

Admission

After registering via Studielink, you will receive an email with instructions explaining how the admission process works.

The admission procedure is a way for us to get to know you and see whether you are a good fit for the programme and equally, for you to discover whether this programme is what you are looking for. On this page, you can read what the admission process involves and what you need to submit.

What do we find important?

During the admission process, we look at who you are and how you work. In addition to final results, show us your process. How did you arrive at an idea? What worked, what didn’t? Take us through your way of thinking.

A team of lecturers and students assesses whether the programme suits you. They look at:

  • Your creative ability: Can you translate ideas into visual work? Do you have a sense of colour, form and material? Is there originality in your work?
  • Your motivation and communication: What drives you? What inspires you? And can you clearly show and explain that?
  • Your way of thinking and researching: Are you curious? Do you dare to experiment? Can you critically reflect on what you create?

After registration

Before coming to the academy, you will submit a digital questionnaire. After that, you will receive your invitation for the admission day.

For the admission day, please bring:

  • Your portfolio: an overview of the work you have created. For tips on preparing your portfolio, visit Prepare yourself.
  • The home assignments: these are practical tasks. For example, we may ask you to create an observational drawing or develop work based on a specific theme.
