Your degree
After completing the programme, you will receive the Bachelor of Design diploma and be entitled to use the title Bachelor of Arts (BA). This programme is registered in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 39111.
Career opportunities
After graduating, you will be an independent, critically minded designer who not only executes ideas, but also drives change and innovation. Alumni are recognised in the professional field for their expertise and conceptual strength. Many graduates go on to take up exciting positions in the Netherlands and abroad; for example, at design studios such as Wieden+Kennedy, LMNOP and Volta, equally many set up their own studios with notable examples Dana Dijkgraaf, De Vormforensen, Team Thursday, Studio Colorado and Not Your Type Foundry.

Further study
GDA alumni are also accepted onto renowned Master Programmes including Werkplaats Typografie MA (ArtEZ), Geo—Design MA (Design Academy), Visual Communication MA (RCA), Design and Technology MFA (Parsons).
Interested in teaching? Then take the part-time accelerated Fine Art and Design in Education bachelor’s programme at ArtEZ. If you take this as a second bachelor’s degree, you will pay the favourable statutory tuition fee.
