For the first selection round, you will need to submit a questionnaire, your portfolio, two home assignments and a motivation letter digitally. Based on these, we will assess whether you will be invited to the admission day.

What we look for in your application

During the admission process, we are curious about who you are and how you work. We are not only interested in the final result, but also in how you got there. What was the starting point for your idea? What worked, what did not? Show us your process and take us into your way of thinking.

Portfolio tips

• Show a variety of work: drawings, animations, storyboards, films or sketchbooks.
• Also include work you have created independently. This often gives the clearest picture of who you are as a maker.
• Show your process: What was the starting point for your idea? What worked, what did not?
• Make sure your presentation is clear. Your portfolio can be a PDF, an MP4 (for film) or a website (for example using Wix).
• Show your storytelling ability through image, text or animation.

At our open days, you can have your portfolio reviewed and receive tips from lecturers and students before submitting it.
