Because you have always been driven by creativity and curiosity. You already make your own work, go out to find inspiration and inspire the people around you with your stories. You know from experience how much art can mean to others. You want to build on that passion, expand it and share it.
You want to explore art education, you are looking for a way to combine artistic and teaching skills, and you want to combine your studies with your work, family or independent art practice.
Throughout the programme, you will explore what drives you, both as a maker and as an educator. You will study two days per week, with space for self-directed learning.
You will follow the same curriculum as the full-time programme, spread over two fixed study days per week. That makes it easier to combine with work, family or your own creative practice.
You will grow as both a visual artist and an educator. In the workshops, you will work with materials and techniques, while internships help you put what you learn into practice. Theory, reflection and didactics are always closely connected to your own work.
With a first-degree teaching qualification, you can work in schools, museums or as an independent artist educator. This programme helps you find your own path in the world of arts education – whether you are already teaching or just starting out.
