What you'll learn

You will learn how to connect art and education, and develop as both a visual artist and a teacher. In the workshops, you will experiment with materials and techniques. In theory classes, you will dive deeper into art, culture and education. You will explore the meaning of images, how to create an inspiring learning environment, and what role you play within it.

In the part-time programme in Fine Art and Design in Education, you will learn:

• how to create visual work and reflect on what you make and what that means for your role as an educator;
• how to share your knowledge and experience in a range of settings, both in and outside the classroom;
• how to link art with theory, culture and social issues, and how to develop educational projects around them.
