The bachelor’s programme in Fine Art and Design in Education (part-time accelerated) prepares you to become a skilled, inspiring and socially engaged teacher with a first-degree teaching qualification. You will develop your own teaching practice – one where creating, thinking and sharing art come together. All of this happens within a personalised programme tailored to your prior knowledge, experience and learning needs. Theory and practice are treated equally: you will explore how to use art to design educational experiences that connect with current social issues.
You will take subjects in pedagogy, subject didactics, art theory and visual arts. You will also do internships in a range of settings, both inside and outside formal education. Instead of following a fixed method, the programme offers you space to reflect and experiment within the diversity of today’s educational landscape.
