Fine Art and Design in Education - part-time accelerated - Bachelor - Zwolle

Check the admission requirements

Would you like to apply for the part-time, tailor-made BA Visual Arts and Design in Education? Then you’ll first need to complete the admission procedure. Think of it as an introduction: during the admission procedure we assess whether you meet the admission requirements. It is an important moment for you to get a feel for the programme and discover whether it truly fits you.

You may apply to the part-time accelerated Fine Art and Design in Education programme if you meet the following conditions:

  • You have completed a higher professional education programme in art, and/or;
  • You have a second-degree teaching qualification in drawing, crafts, textile arts or visual arts;
  • you meet the language requirements. Is Dutch your mother tongue or do you have a diploma from a Dutch secondary school? Then you already meet this requirement. Did you attend school abroad or is Dutch your second language? Then read how you can meet the language requirements.
  • you receive a positive assessment.

During the assessment, a committee of lecturers will determine whether the programme is a good fit for you. They will consider the following, among other things:

  • your motivation for pursuing this programme;
  • your previous education, practical experience and work as an artist, designer or lecturer;
  • your reflective and communication skills;
  • your starting position in relation to the study programme and the study load.

If you have a foreign educational qualification or are unsure whether or not you meet the requirements, please contact Student Affairs.
