After graduating, you will be awarded the Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. The official name of the programme is ‘Bachelor’s programme in Fine Art and Design in Education’. It is listed in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 39100. You will obtain an ungraded teaching qualification that allows you to teach across all forms of education.
After completing the programme, you can work in education; For example, as a teacher of visual arts or crafts or as a CKV (arts and culture) teacher. There are also opportunities outside mainstream education – at museums, cultural institutions or festival organisations. You can also develop your own practice as an independent artist educator or visual artist – and involve others in your work.
