After your application via Studielink, you will receive an email with instructions explaining how the admission process works. Admission is a way to get to know each other: to see whether you are a good fit for the programme, and for you to see whether this programme is what you are looking for. On this page you can read what admission involves and what you need to submit.
What do we look for?
- Your creative ability: can you turn ideas into images? Do you have a sense of colour, form and material? Does your work show originality?
- Your motivation and communication: what drives you? What inspires you? And can you show and explain this clearly?
- Your way of thinking and researching: are you curious? Do you dare to experiment? And can you look critically at what you create?
First round
For the first round, you submit the reflection / inspiration assignment no later than two weeks before the next admission day. Based on this, you may be invited to the second round.
Second round
During the second round, you bring your home assignment and portfolio. On this day you can expect the following:
- You work on an assignment for half a day.
- You have a conversation with lecturers and students from the programme to get to know each other. During this conversation, you talk about your portfolio, motivation, home assignment, inspiration and creative process.
