Start a programme at ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem

Visit one of our open days to experience the atmosphere at the academy. You can talk to lecturers and students, have your portfolio reviewed, attend information sessions and ask questions. You can also explore the workshops, classrooms and student work.

Be inspired

To prepare well, you can start exploring fashion and art. Visit exhibitions and shows, and browse magazines for inspiration.

Each year, you can also visit the Graduation Show. This usually takes place in early June, when graduates present their collections. Watch the 2025 video below.

Preparation for admission

Once your application via Studielink has been received, you will receive information about the date of the entrance exam and the home assignment.

Tips for your portfolio

• Your portfolio mainly consists of sketches, process material and designs that give the committee insight into how you think and create.
• Make a strong selection of your work and present it in a clear and well-structured way.
• During open days, you can already have your portfolio reviewed and receive tips from lecturers and students.
