Fashion Design - Bachelor - Arnhem

Check the admission requirements

If you want to apply for the bachelor’s programme in Fashion Design, you will first need to complete the admission process. Think of it as an introduction: the admission procedure exists to see if you are a good fit for the programme, but also for you to determine whether this programme is what you are looking for. On this page, you can read what the admission procedure involves and what you will need to submit.

Want to start this programme? First, apply for admission. The process is as follows:

Application → Admission → Positive decision → Enrolment → Programme start

At the enrolment stage, you must meet all admission requirements:

  • You hold a Dutch HAVO, VWO or MBO 4 diploma, or an equivalent international diploma.
  • You meet the language requirements: you must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English at a high enough level to follow your classes. You can meet these requirements if you have a valid language certificate. There are also other ways to meet the requirements: for example, if you have completed a prior programme taught in English, or if you passed English as an exam subject as part of your HAVO or VWO diploma. Read more here about how you can meet the English language requirements.
  • You received a positive result on your entrance examination (you have been admitted).

If you have an international educational qualification or are unsure whether you meet the requirements, please contact the Student Affairs Office.
