Your degree
After successfully completing the Fashion Design programme, you are entitled to use the title of Bachelor of Arts (BA). This programme can be found in the Registry of Institutions and Programmes (RIO) under code 39111.
Career opportunities
After completing the Fashion Design programme, you will be a fashion designer in the broadest sense of the word. Our alumni work in many different areas and across all segments of the fashion industry:
- As independent fashion designers running their own practice, or as part of an existing company.
- With a wide range of specialisations, from fashion, textile and print design to technical roles, styling, illustration and more.
- In the Netherlands and abroad, often achieving international recognition.

Further study
After graduating from the bachelor’s programme in Fashion Design, many alumni go on to enrol in master’s programmes, including international ones in London, Paris or Copenhagen. Others continue with a theoretical master’s programme, such as Critical Fashion Practices at ArtEZ.
