Your degree
After completing the programme, your diploma will state Bachelor of Design. You will be entitled to use the title Bachelor of Arts (BA). This programme is registered in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 39111.
Career opportunities
Graduates of Creative Writing work as independent writers, writing teachers, and programme makers for venues, or they combine several roles within their professional practice.

Would you like to explore the writing practice in more depth? ArtEZ offers an international master’s programme in Creative Writing: a two-year programme for talented writers who have completed the bachelor's programme. The master’s programme is a collaboration with two leading European writing schools: Escuela de Escritores (Spain) and Scuola Holden (Italy).
Writing is at the heart of the programme, but there is also a strong focus on critical research, artistic experimentation, social engagement and meaningful collaboration within the European literary field.
