Good preparation increases your chances of being admitted to the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Arnhem. Below you can find the options.

Introductory lesson

Before you apply for the entrance examination, we recommend sitting in on one of our classes. This gives you the opportunity to get to know the teacher(s) better and to get a feel for the atmosphere in our programme. 

Please note: introductory lessons are only available from December through March.

Crash Course Music Theory

You can prepare thoroughly for the music theory entrance exam by taking the Crash Course Music Theory.

Preparatory programmes

A preparatory programme at the ArtEZ Academy of Music offers you the best possible preparation for admission to one of our bachelor’s programmes in Arnhem, Enschede or Zwolle. In Arnhem, you can follow the preparatory course for the Composition for Film and Theatre track. In the Netherlands and abroad, there are also various courses that train you in composition for mixed media.
