After graduation

Your degree 

After completing the programme, you will receive the Bachelor of Music diploma and be entitled to use the official title Bachelor of Music (BMus). This programme is listed in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 34739.         

Career opportunities 

After graduation, you will enter the professional field with confidence and experience. You will be able to apply your strong technical and compositional skills in many areas.

You can work as a composer for film and theatre, but you can also compose for other media. You will also have the technical knowledge of a studio engineer and sound designer. 

Alumni

Anne Kathrin Dern graduated in 2012. She continued her studies at the UCLA Film Scoring Programme in Los Angeles, where she is now CEO of e-Quality Music Productions LLC. She is known for her scores for Fearless (Netflix, 2020) and The Claus Family (Netflix, 2020). 

Olaf Krause obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2019 and his master’s degree in 2021, both at ArtEZ. He is now an award-winning composer and a lecturer at ArtEZ.

Mike Meurs graduated in 2020. He did an internship with film and trailer composer Joep Sporck in Los Angeles. He won a Buma Music in Media Award in 2021. At the Feel the Reel International Film Festival and the International Sound and Film Music Festival in 2020 he was nominated for Best Original Score.
