In recent years, you see comics appearing everywhere. There is growing interest in visual storytelling and in the power of images to tell stories. Comics are also increasingly used for many forms of information sharing – for example, to illustrate journalistic items, for advertising purposes or in interactive and educational projects.

The Comic Design bachelor’s programme in Zwolle is the only higher vocational programme for comic artists in the Netherlands. You will learn how to create visual stories that truly make an impact.
