In the third year, you will go on an exchange, do a minor or complete an internship. You will choose an internship that fits your interests, either in the Netherlands or abroad. The programme will help you find a suitable position and organises return days, where you exchange your experiences with other students. This is also when you start preparing for your graduation year.
A minor will broaden your horizon with another discipline or give you the chance to deepen your knowledge in a completely different field. An exchange is also a way of gaining new perspectives and experiences that stimulate your development.
You can choose an internship aligned with your interests and future plans.
During your internship you will be mentored by a lecturer and you will still come to school now and then. You will conclude the placement with a report and a presentation, in which you reflect on what you have learnt and how you wish to continue as a creator.
You will get to know the profession, learn to deal with deadlines and feedback and experience what it is like to work on an assignment or as part of a team. You will also gain experience with entrepreneurship, explore your interests and perhaps even deliver your first finished products. It is what you make of it. Many students discover during their third year what they are good at and what they want to develop in their graduation year.
