During your Dance programme, you are taught by a team of around seven permanent lecturers and several guest lecturers from the Netherlands and abroad. All of them are professionals in both the field of dance and in education. Each brings their own experience and expertise from professional practice, along with strong connections to the (inter)national dance world.
Based on a student-driven vision, the individual takes centre stage in the course, enabling them to work on their personal development and forming their own vision of the dance teacher's occupation.
ArtEZ Artisteducator in Dance is a learning environment that is closely connected with the national and international professional field. Together we are always in motion, enabling us to respond to what is happening in society. There are a number of recurring moments of exchange with the professional field and our partners, both at ArtEZ and elsewhere. There are round table discussions, research and exchange projects, residencies and symposiums.
We collaborate with DOCH University of Dance and Circus (Sweden), RAMA Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg (Denmark), HAN Social Work, Nederlandse Dansdagen, Cultuur Oost, LKCA, the Contweedancecollective alumni collective and the Choreolab Europe choreographic platform.
