Animation Design is right for you if you want to tell stories through your own moving images. You do not need to be an experienced artist or filmmaker yet – motivation to grow is enough!

Learn how to make a film from start to finish
You will learn the complete process of making an animated film, from first idea to final edit. You will write scripts, make storyboards and direct your own animations. This is how you will develop your personal way of storytelling. You will learn how to create animated films from the very first idea to the final image. You will write the script and develop a moving storyboard. You will do the animation yourself and direct the entire process. Along the way, you will discover your own unique way of telling a story.
Work in professionally equipped animation studios
As an animation student, you work with all kinds of techniques, from analogue to digital. You will have access to everything you need: digital drawing studios, stop motion tables, a sound studio, green screen and editing suites. This is where you can experiment and develop your technical skills.
Develop your voice as a creator
You will develop your own style and vision as an animator. What do you want to say, and why? During the programme, you have plenty of space to explore your interests and translate them into meaningful moving images. From personal short films to animations about social themes – you decide the direction.
