Once we have received your application, you will receive a confirmation email from us. This will include a questionnaire and a link where you can upload your files. Please upload the following items as soon as possible:
- The completed questionnaire
- Links to three video recordings in which you present yourself
- A link to your portfolio, containing:
- the programme with the pieces or songs you will perform at your audition
- for Singer-Songwriter or Instrumentalist-Songwriter: song lyrics and sheet music*
- your CV and biography
- a motivation letter describing your experience with bands, studio work and organisation Try to answer the following questions in your letter:
- How long have you been playing?
- How long have you had lessons, and with whom?
- Which other instruments do you play?
- Why do you want to study at the Pop Academy?
- What are your expectations of the programme and your future career?
- What are your strengths and areas for development?
- You can also include additional recordings, photos, lyrics, lead sheets or other material that helps us understand who you are and why you should be selected.
* Not mandatory for other main subjects.
