In your second year, you will complete an educational internship, during which you will teach within a professional organisation. You will apply the knowledge, insights and skills you have gained in your main subject and education classes. This internship will help you prepare for a possible career as an independent music teacher.
To prepare for professional life, you will complete internships during this year. Third and fourth-year students taking the Music Management or Business minor will complete their internship at PAMM Productions, the production company of the Academy of Pop Music and MediaMusic. You can also spend several months studying abroad in your third or fourth year.
PAMM Productions is the production company shared by the Academy of Pop Music and MediaMusic. If you choose the Music Management or Business minor in your third or fourth year, you will complete your internship here. At PAMM, you will programme bands and organise sessions at music venues, support students in setting up their own projects and take part in festivals such as Popronde, Booster and Stukafest. PAMM maintains close contact with professionals and alumni, and organises part of the projects for both programmes. It also fosters collaboration between Academy of Pop Music and MediaMusic students, as well as students from other ArtEZ disciplines. All of this makes PAMM Productions an exciting and inspiring place to do your internship!
