Once you have completed the Academy of Pop Music programme, you will be ready to begin your career in pop music. Your graduation project – whether a performance, album, label or business – will act as your professional introduction to the pop industry.
Upon completion of the programme, you will be awarded a Bachelor of Music degree (BMus) and entitled to use the title Bachelor of Music. This programme is listed in the RIO (Register of Institutions and Programmes) under code 34739.
Graduates of the Academy of Pop Music follow many different paths – as performing musicians, artists running their own labels, or professionals working within booking agencies. Almost all Academy of Pop Music graduates – around 90% – find work in the music industry. Well-known alumni include Jeangu Macrooy, Krystl, Miss Montreal, Stefany June, Luxuslaerm and Nils Krake.
