Interior Design - Associate Degree - Zwolle

After graduation

Your degree

After two years of study, you will receive the Associate degree in Interior Design – a recognised higher professional qualification at level 5 – and become eligible to use the title Associate degree (Ad). You will graduate as an interior designer with a strong foundation in design, material use and spatial experience.

Career opportunities

With your degree, you can work as an interior designer or interior stylist. You might find work at a project design company, a design studio, an interior construction firm or an architecture office. Some graduates start their own studios or work as freelancers on interior projects in sectors such as hospitality, education or retail. Students and lecturers from the Associate degree in Interior Design and the bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Interior Architecture together form a professional community. Through alumni groups on LinkedIn and during alumni events, you can find out about job opportunities and new projects.

Continuing education

Would you like to continue your education after completing your Associate degree in Interior Design? After admission, you can progress directly into the third year of the bachelor’s programme in Interior Architecture at ArtEZ. This enables you to earn your bachelor’s degree in two additional years.

After that, you can continue your education with a master’s, such as the master’s programme in Interior Architecture or the master’s programme in Architecture.
