What to expect during the open days
Wether you have a particular course in mind or are still orienting yourself, visiting an open day can help you decide which study is the right one for you. You can visit the buildings and work places, interact with teachers and current students, follow presentations about the courses, and even participate in workshops. This experience allows you to get a feel for the teaching approach, facilities, and the overall atmosphere. It's a chance to ask questions, discuss your aspirations, and make an informed decision about whether a course aligns with your artistic and personal goals.
In Arnhem, Enschede, and Zwolle, all our academies are ready to welcome you during the ArtEZ open days. Each open day's programme is filled with performances, presentations and workshops, which will allow you to learn more about different courses and ArtEZ in general. You'll have the chance to view student projects and exhibitions, see performance and concerts, giving you an idea of the kind of work produced by our students. Tips for visiting the open days
Visiting the open days is exciting: the academies are buzzing with activities, and this could be an important moment in deciding which study you want to follow. Each open day's programme is slightly different. In some academies, you can even get advice to help you prepare your application, for example for your portfolio or your audition. Make sure you bring your instrument or some of your work, if you want to participate in this part of the programme. Look at our agenda to see the programmes of the open days you want to visit. Coming with someone, like a friend or a family member, can also help you getting a second opinion about the courses and facilities. Finally, let yourself be surprised: you just might visit the open day for a specific course and get inspired to follow a different one!
