- ArtEZ Prizewinner

On the evening of Friday 30 September 2016, during the L’OR Gouden Kalveren Gala at the Dutch Film Festival, the ‘Golden Calves’ were presented. Jacob Derwig and Anneke Blok, both alumni of the ArtEZ School of Acting, each won a Golden Calf.
Jacob Derwig won the Golden Calf for Best Actor in a TV drama for his role in KLEM. From the jury report: “This actor captivated the jury with his natural, genuine acting. He renders a sensitive, human and likeable character, whose deeper core he manages to subtly but compellingly convey through looks and posture. This actor sidesteps the clichés of the archetype which is his role with seemingly effortless verve. A dangerously strong performance.”
Anneke Blok received a Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actress in DE HELLEVEEG.
