'At ArtEZ, there’s room to discover what feels right for you and to follow your own path.'
About the teacher
Sander Borst (1996) has been a bassoon teacher at the ArtEZ Conservatoire (Zwolle) since 2024. He studied bassoon with Ronald Karten and Jos de Lange at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Already during his studies, he joined the Royal Military Band ‘Johan Willem Friso’ in Assen, one of the professional wind orchestras of the Dutch Armed Forces.
Alongside teaching and working at the military band, Sander performs with the music theatre trio ""de Omniband"", together with two friends whom he met through the Ricciotti ensemble. In de Omniband he plays, besides the bassoon of course, a wide range of other instruments.
