About the teacher
Studied with Ben de Ligt and William Pleeth. Has performed with, among others, Combattimento Consort, Cello8tet Amsterdam, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Belgium. He has also performed chamber music with the Sonsbeek Ensemble and at the Schiermonnikoog Festival, as well as with pianists Kees Wieringa and Michael Krücker.
He has made several well-received CD recordings featuring works by Morton Feldman, Ingenhoven and Ter Veldhuis. He has performed concerts around the world and has also worked as a teacher in Indonesia.
