About the teacher
In my work, I bring together my two great loves: music and the voice. I studied Jazz & Pop Singing and Speech Therapy, and then specialised in a wide range of voice therapies and singing techniques.
From my own practice in Zwolle, I train people with and without voice problems to speak, sing and present in an engaging and relaxed way. I combine individual sessions with group training and teaching in education. I previously taught on the Speech Therapy programme and the Theatre in Education programme, and now teach at the conservatory.
It is a wonderful place where my love of voice and music come together. I teach Speaking to students on the Music in Education programme, Anatomy & Physiology for singers, and individual Speech Therapy and Basic Vocal Technique classes in Jazz & Pop.
I enjoy working alongside students and helping them get to know themselves and their vocal instrument better. For me, ArtEZ is a place to inspire others and, just as importantly, to be inspired by colleagues and students.
