About the teacher
Marije Slot is working since 2017 as principal oboe of the Royal Military Band 'Johan Willem Friso', one out of three professional wind orchestras in the Netherlands. Also, she is a member of the wind quintet of the RMBJWF as well as a freelancer at several symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Since 2024 Marije is main subject teacher Oboe at ArtEZ. With a big passion for the craftsmanship of oboe playing, it is her goal to educate the oboists of the future as broadly als possible in preparation for the workfield.
