About the teacher
As a singer (ArtEZ Conservatorium Arnhem, 1986, Performing Musician with distinction) with a strong theatrical background, I have sung, acted and danced in many different types of music theatre productions. From opera (Frasquita in Carmen, the title role in Orpheus’ dochter at Onafhankelijk Toneel) to musical theatre (Frasquita again in Carmen at ID-theater, Evita and The Phantom of the Opera) and folk opera (Pol at RO-theater), from sung ballet (the title role in Marike at Introdans) to theatre (Miau, the opening production at Theater aan het Spui).
Over the years, my focus has shifted towards teaching (Lindenberg, ArtEZ Academy of Music Arnhem and Zwolle), coaching (Vocaal Lab/Silbersee) and directing (Crea, Rozet and ArtEZ).
