About the teacher
I am a jazz musician, Hammond organist, singer and arranger. As a sideman, I perform with national and international soloists. I also sing in my own vocal jazz quartet, IN 4. I write for my own ensembles and for others, and regularly give workshops and coaching sessions.
In all these different forms of making music, I am always working towards the same thing: making something intangible audible and tangible. Whether it emerges on the Hammond, in an arrangement, during improvisation, or while developing another musician’s musical idea.
In my work with students, I believe it is important that they ultimately find their own strengths and sound. That they discover what suits them, what they have to say, and how they can express it in their own way.
