About the teacher
Jerôme Hol is a distinctive Dutch jazz guitarist, renowned for his virtuosic and boundary-pushing artistry. His style—often described as a convergence of Jimi Hendrix and John Coltrane—combines explosive rock energy with cosmic jazz lines, infused with funk and fusion influences.
He has released two albums of original compositions: You’ll Hear It and Sneak Peek—pure heavy guitar magic with a blues soul and jazz depth and there’s a new album coming up this year!
For years he has been the regular guitarist for Hans Dulfer. He has shared the stage with icons such as Billy Cobham and Dr. Lonnie Smith, and plays with Candy Dulfer, Michiel Borstlap Band, Eric Vloeimans Hotspot, Boost!, and Michael Varekamp Elektra. He has recently appeared on numerous stages in the Netherlands and around the world with all the bands and projects he is part of.
Today he is a prominent figure on the Dutch jazz scene and a lecturer at ArtEZ, where he inspires the new generation with his unique blend.
