Jeroen Katier is Head of the Music in Education programme at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede and an experienced music educator, conductor and education manager. With a background in Music Education, Contextual Therapy and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, combined with extensive experience in both education and professional practice, he is committed to educating future-proof music teachers who excel in both artistic quality and pedagogical expertise.
His work is characterised by a clear vision, professional organisation and a strong focus on group dynamics and artistic quality. He is also active as a strategic project developer, including in regional collaborations where he works to build sustainable connections between schools, cultural institutions and music education.
