About the teacher
In search for the essence of sound, and looking for the impact and meaning of music in a world that is largely visual and verbally dominated, Huba developed a series of operas like Lautsprecher Arnolt, Apera and Pornopera. Music always represents existing power relations which led to her socially engaged work De Lamp, Geweld & Vibrato and recently Qaqnas.
In an attempt to understand the world, she seeks radical extremes, never shying away from humor or alternative perspectives.
Recently she also presents her work as a performer herself.
