About the lecturer
Geert Leurink is a guitarist, songwriter and full-time musician with years of experience on stage, in the studio and in education. He played with bands including La Lupa, with whom he won the Grote Prijs van Nederland, and is active as a guitarist, singer and songwriter in a wide range of musical projects. He also writes songs in Dutch and regularly works on commissioned projects.
As a lecturer at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle, Geert combines his professional experience with his passion for helping young musicians develop. His classes focus on musicianship, creativity, playing together and developing your own musical identity.
