'If you play a wrong note, you've got to use it!'
About the lecturer
Florean Kruijswijk Jansen studied Jazz Bass and Music in Education at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. After graduating in 2016, he continued to work in both fields. He has taught in a wide range of settings and worked with diverse groups of students, while also developing into a versatile bassist involved in various projects.
For his jazz fusion trio Zettai (https://www.zettai-music.com/), he created a theatrical Jazz-VR-Mime concept and a video game that could be played in collaboration with the band during concerts.
His other artistic project is SONE – music for runners, for which he writes, records, mixes and masters music for runners. The project is based on the idea that this music can help you train in a healthier way. The music is available to runners through We Run The City. Under the name Brick Roots, they have also released some of their tracks to a wider audience.
