About the teacher
From an early age, I knew that I wanted to share my love of music and playing the violin with young violinists. For more than 40 years, I have been passionately sharing my knowledge and experience with enthusiastic young musicians.
Since 2003, I have also taught at ArtEZ Academy of Music. In Arnhem, you are very welcome to develop your skills further through the preparatory programme or the Young Talent programme at ArtEZ. Together, we will explore and deepen your technical skills and musicianship.
Outstanding pedagogues such as Davina van Wely, Herman Krebbers and Rainer Kussmaul have played an important role in shaping my knowledge and experience.
With my background as an orchestral musician – I played as principal second violin in Phion for almost 30 years – and as a chamber musician, I can also inspire you with all the ins and outs of the wonderful profession of being a violinist.
