How can you use the starters voucher?

Starting your professional practice often involves one-time investments critical for getting your business off the ground. Examples include:

• Developing a website;
• Purchasing equipment or machinery for your studio or workspace;
• Marketing and promotional costs, such as a photoshoot, PR video, or social media campaign;
• Accounting software;
• Professional advice, for example, from an accountant or legal expert (e.g., for patents or trademarks).

Application and individual coaching

Ready to apply for the Starters Voucher? Get in touch with us. You’ll be invited to a one-on-one meeting to discuss your business concept. Throughout the application process, you’ll receive personal guidance from Cily Smulders, business coach at ArtEZ. To prepare you for your pitch to the review committee, you’ll participate in a targeted pitch training session two weeks prior. This ensures you’re fully equipped to present your idea effectively.

The assessment committee will meet five times in 2026 to review applications. The meetings will take place on 5 February, 7 April, 18 June, 15 October and 30 November.
